Day 275 – Sinfully Sweet Chocolate Cupcakes with Strawberry Frosting

2 May

Some combinations are just too good to resist.  Raspberry and lemon.  Vanilla and almond.  Chocolate and strawberry.  Hence, these Sinfully Sweet Chocolate Cupcakes with Strawberry Frosting (recipe below from the Stir).  Classic.

Chocolate-Cupcake     Mini-Chocolate-Cupcake

The cupcakes are dense and chewy. They have a dark chocolate taste. Dark and a little sweet.

The frosting is definitely the “Sinfully Sweet” part of this cupcake. It’s creamy and fluffy. Sweet and a little tart.

Together this cupcake is sweet, dark and a little tart. It tastes a little like a dark chocolate-covered strawberry.
